Becoming a Benefactor:
Becoming a Benefactor means you would commit in sponsoring one specific child through his/her schooling years. The child will stay at Soli Deo Gloria Care Centre but you will be a intricate part of his/her upbringing.
We belief that education and life experience is the path to breaking the cycle of poverty these children grew up in. You can help in breaking the poverty cycle.
You will have the opportunity to interact with the chosen child, we highly encourage this for the child to realise his world is not the only environment that exist. You are being encouraged to interact via mail, email, videos or video calls.
What you can expect:
- Share birthdays via calls or video calls.
- Encourage and share in school activities.
- Share your experiences and knowledge about live to help broaden their world.
- Be part of a new live.
If you want you can even visit the child at Soli Deo Gloria centre.
You are encouraged to share life experiences with them and give words of encouragement through tough times.
Financial cost of becoming a Benefactor to one child is estimated to be from $150 or R2 400 per child per month. This would be the minimum we recommend budgeting on. If its in your means you can feel free in donating more.
